does anyone know the meaning of a heart-shaped triquetra celtic knot?

- The Triquetra or Trinity knot means just what the name implies.. The Trinity refers to the Holy Trinity as in the Father, Son , and the Holy Spirit. I know lot's of other meanings have been floating around since the polarity of a show about 3 witches called 'Charmed" used this symbol as the 3 sister witches sign. Alas it isn't a witches symbol but the symbol of GOD. Very much like a cross.
- jenny jenny jenny you really need to learn about celtic history the trinty knot predates christianity by a very large margine. it is the ancient celtic symbol of the 3 elements fire water and earth. air was considered to be part of fire. it was not untill much later the celts accpets the 4 elements as we know them. it is also commonly used as a protection ward. the pic you provide is just a different rendering of a triquetra a rather bad one at that.
